Overview
The Head of Sales at Antidote Health is pivotal in driving the growth and success of the company’s health insurance offerings under the Affordable Care Act (ACA). This leadership position requires a dynamic and experienced professional who can lead the sales and broker’s activity, develop strategic sales plans, and ensure that the company's health insurance products reach a wide range of consumers effectively and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Work with the Marketing department to analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and consumer needs to inform sales strategies.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
Team Leadership and Development
- Lead and manage sales channels, primarily broker relationships.
- Establish clear sales performance metrics and objectives.
- Provide ongoing training and support to sales agents.
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key stakeholders, explicitly emphasizing brokers.
- Ensure exceptional sales service and satisfaction across all sales channels.
- Address and resolve any sales issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
Sales Operations and Reporting
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales activity, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance data to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.
- Prepare detailed reports on sales metrics, performance, and projections for senior management.
Compliance and Regulatory Adherence
- Ensure that all sales activities comply with ACA regulations and company policies.
- Stay updated on changes in healthcare laws and regulations that may impact sales activity.
- Implement best practices to maintain compliance and mitigate risk.
Small Group Market Brokers/Sales Objective
- Develop strategies to increase market share and enrollment within the small group market segment.
- Forge and maintain strong partnerships with brokers specializing in the small group market to drive sales and growth.
- Provide tailored support and resources to brokers to enhance their effectiveness in the small group market.
Qualifications, Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the health insurance industry.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
- Active health insurance Producer license or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe as state regulations require.
