Antidote Health is a startup on a mission to create a smart, digital and AFFORDABLE HMO in the US. We are developing comprehensive health solutions, encompassing both medical services and health insurance, with a focus on reducing healthcare costs through proactive member health management. We are developing our product in a way that will make it easy for our members to manage their health. They can get on a video call with our doctors, receive prescriptions and referrals for labs of specialists from the app, track their test results and much more. We created a decision support system for our physicians and use our data to give insights both to the patients and the doctors in order to have preventive care.

Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and maintain test cases for front-end and back-end systems, including mobile applications, ensuring all features function as intended.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing
  • Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and potential usability issues.
  • Use SQL queries to validate data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across databases.
  • Work closely with development and product teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality test coverage.
  • Communicate findings, defects, and test results clearly and effectively to team members and management.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Monday.
  • Provide clear and concise defect reports, including steps to reproduce, expected vs actual behavior, and screenshots or logs.
  • Apply critical thinking and attention to detail to quickly identify issues, analyze root causes, and propose solutions.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in manual software testing, specializing in both front-end and back-end systems, with a focus on B2C mobile applications.
  • Strong proficiency with SQL for database validation and testing.
  • Strong ability to analyze requirements, identify testing needs, and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and understand how software components interact.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to document and explain defects, test results, and progress updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Team player - willing to collaborate and work closely with other team members and also work as an independent, confidently taking decisions.
  • Automation [Advantageous] - Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, etc.) to assist in automating repetitive test cases.
