Marketing Campaign and Communications Manager

JOB SUMMARY
We’re looking for a Marketing Campaign and Communications manager who can directly impact our mission by ensuring members understand and utilize their benefits. We are looking for a strong team player, someone willing to roll up their sleeves and pitch in when needed. This individual will be responsible for creating and executing marketing campaigns for member education and ongoing engagement. This role involves close collaboration with multiple teams across the organization, including Product, Operations, Clinical, and Engineering. It supports growth, retention, and paves the path for new member acquisition. There will be a heavy focus on improving email marketing strategy and integrating it with other communication channels, including direct mail, text, and live agent outreach. Member targeting, segmentation, and list management are crucial. Prior experience in selecting and setting up CRMs, building out segmentation, and developing communication processes is highly desirable.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Campaign strategy and execution: Design, build and implement overlapping multichannel campaigns, which may include new member onboarding, targeted telehealth engagement, and clinical outreach. Leverage mobile-friendly templates for quick delivery. Stay updated on email industry trends, including technological advancements, ISP/ESP developments, and email legislation.
- Content development and management: In cooperation with members from the product team, work closely to build a content and communications calendar that spans multiple digital tools, featuring engaging calls to action that align to company OKRs. Manage the graphic design and copy creation of all communication assets for your campaigns. Craft engaging and compelling content that resonates with members.
- Campaign analysis: Continuously monitor campaigns across all channels for deliverability, compliance and performance. For email, report on key metrics like open rates, click-through rates and conversion rates. Lead and provide direction for data analysts to further understand campaign effectiveness and analyze trends. Optimize campaigns to ensure we are hitting or surpassing goals. Leverage a formal test and learn process to measure results.
- Operations management: Act as the project manager for your campaigns. Lead and motivate others to assist you in launching your campaigns. Utilize available tools to ensure campaigns are activated on time.
- Member targeting and personalization: Work with product and clinical teams to segment members and personalize communication channels, streams, and content to optimize effectiveness.
- Inter-departmental cross collaboration: Facilitate communication and coordinate efforts across teams to streamline workflows, share insights, and integrate marketing initiatives with broader company objectives.
- Process development: Build out the processes used to define targeted lists, determine the appropriate software/tools and integrate data.
- Support & miscellaneous: Provide additional support as needed, including brand work, marketing operations, state filing, and other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field.
- 5+ years in marketing campaign management and strategy.
- Deep health insurance or healthcare knowledge, bonus points if a strong familiarity with the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
- Proven experience with CRM systems, email marketing, and multichannel campaign execution.
- Proficiency with MailChimp or similar platform.
- Experience building out Salesforce marketing workflows
- Deep knowledge of email best practices, segmentation strategies and engagement tactics.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach and the ability to derive actionable insights.
- Prior experience or openness to leveraging AI tools to assist with job responsibilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple campaigns/projects simultaneously.
- Ability to think critically and make decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
